Thank you for purchasing your vehicle from BerryBrook Motors Ltd. We hope you will have
enjoyable trouble-free motoring. However, please read the following details carefully in case a
problem arises.

This warranty covers the repair or replacement of any covered component, which suffers mechanical
or electrical failure (i.e. within normal parameters breaks down, burns out or stops working). Please
see the ‘Warranty Record’ form for the limits of the warranty.

HOW DO I CLAIM?

Please leave a message with a contact number if out of hours.

When you call in, please let us know the details of your car and the problem you are experiencing.
We will then arrange with you when to book the car into our workshop so we can attend to the
problem or locate a local repairing agent.

Please note that this warranty does not include vehicle recovery and you will be responsible for
getting your car to us (or an agreed repairer) for any fault to be investigated. You may therefore
wish to consider taking out separate vehicle recovery cover with a motoring organisation such as the
AA or RAC. It is recommended that any such cover also includes recovery from your home.

If you have breakdown and recovery cover with one of the motoring organisations, you may wish to
contact them first in the event of a problem with your vehicle. They may be able to carry out an
immediate repair and save you time and inconvenience.

Normally we would ask for the vehicle to be returned to us for diagnosis and repair. If however this
is not practical, for example because you are too far away, then another Specialist Dealer or VAT
registered garage can undertake work or repairs as provided for by this warranty document. Please
however note the following:

The dealer or garage must be approved by BerryBrook Motors Ltd

The dealer or garage must contact us with an estimate before carrying out repairs and we must
approve this estimate before any repair work is undertaken.

Diagnosis, fault finding and dismantling will only be covered by BerryBrook Motors Ltd if it applies to
a component covered by this warranty. You are responsible for paying for any other work you ask
the repairer to carry out e.g general look over, fitting of an optional extra.

You will also be responsible for any costs that exceed the limits on the Warranty Record.
Under certain circumstances we may arrange to have the car returned to BerryBrook Motors Ltd for
repair.

If you take your car to a repairer other than BerryBrook Motors Ltd, the repairer must obtain
authority from BerryBrook Motors Ltd before carrying out any work.

We try to approve warranty claims quickly and with as little inconvenience to you as possible.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.

BerryBrook Motors Ltd is entitled to choose whether to repair or replace a component covered by
this warranty. This includes the use of second hand items if they are in good condition e.g exhaust
manifold.

Any parts replaced shall become the property of BerryBrook Motors Ltd and will not be returned to
you, the parts however may be viewed.

The claim limit of the warranty is limited to the purchase price of the vehicle unless otherwise stated
on the record form.

There is no limit to the number of claims made under the warranty save that the total shall not
exceed the purchase price.

Where the cost of repair exceeds the claim limit stipulated on the warranty record form the extent
of contribution by BerryBrook Motors Ltd will be to the stipulated claim limit.

The warranty period is valid from the date of handover for the period/mileage (which ever comes
sooner) stipulated on the warranty record.

You must notify us of claims as soon as possible after a problem occurs, and at the latest within 7
days.

This warranty will be invalidated if the vehicle is used for hire and reward, any kind of competition
driving (including racing, rallies, scrambling, hill climbs, reliability trials and track days).

This warranty will be invalidated if it is discovered that the odometer has been disconnected for a
material mileage or has been tampered with.

The mileage stated on the warranty record may not be the total distance travelled by the vehicle.

This warranty is not transferable to another owner.

This warranty is only valid for electrical and mechanical failure in the United Kingdom.

If you or a repairer make a false or dishonest claim, this warranty will be cancelled and legal action
may be taken against you.

GENERAL EXCLUSIONS

BerryBrook Motors Ltd will not be liable for any claim/failure directly or indirectly caused by:

Non-compliance with the conditions relating to the maintenance of the vehicle.

Any act, omission or negligence by you (or any user of the vehicle), which adds to the loss or
damage.

Fire, collision, frost, snow, ice, flooding, freezing or corrosion.

Parts that fail as a result of inherent design faults.

Gradual deterioration through wear and tear.

Gradual deterioration due to age of a component/part.

Consequential damage if it reasonable for us to conclude that the damage has been caused by
failure to take preventative steps (e.g. vehicle being driven with a defective part) and any loss arising
from – excluded parts; incorrectly fitted parts by a third party; insufficient servicing.

Losses normally covered under a road risks insurance policy.

This warranty does not provide cover for other people or personal injury.

Any mechanical breakdown caused by lack of normal and proper use or care, the correct service
schedule not being followed, the use of incorrect fuel.

No liability will be accepted for failure due to an act of God (e.g. lightening/floods), sonic booms, war
risks or nuclear radiation.

Vehicle recovery is not covered by this warranty.

Any claim reported to BerryBrook Motors Ltd more than 7 days after the occurrence of the failure.

The failure of any part arising as a result of repairs carried out by a person not authorised by
BerryBrook Motors Ltd.

Service items e.g. belts, filters, brake pads and shoes, spark plugs, springs and cables are not covered by this warranty.

Bodywork, paintwork, glass, interior trim and upholstery, hoods, tonneau are not covered by this
warranty.

SERVICING REQUIREMENTS

The vehicle must be serviced as per its manufacturer’s service recommendations by BerryBrook
Motors Ltd, another Dealer specialising in the make of the car covered by the warranty, or a VAT
registered garage agreed with BerryBrook Motors Ltd.

Morgan service intervals are every 5000 miles or annually, whichever comes first. For other makes it
is as per the manufacturer’s recommended service schedule.

The intervals between services must not exceed the stipulated time or mileage by more than 28 days
or 500 miles. The Warranty Record states when the next service is due.

Please retain proof of servicing for our inspection (if requested) in the event of a claim. This must be
a detailed VAT service invoices with service dates and mileage.

Failure to maintain and provide proof that the vehicle has been serviced as per it’s manufacturer’s
recommendations will invalidate this warranty.

PARTS COVERED

Please see your warranty record form for any claim limits or restrictions. All limits exclude VAT.

ENGINE
All engine components and major oil leaks.

GEARBOX
All gearbox components and major oil leaks.

REAR AXLE
All axle components including hub seals and major pinion seal leaks, excluding limited slip differentials.

CLUTCH
All clutch components including master and slave cylinders. Clutch centre plate (oil
contamination).

WHEEL BEARINGS
Front and rear wheel bearings.

PROPSHAFT
Universal joints and couplings.

FUEL SYSTEM including INJECTION SYSTEMS
All fuel system related components.

STEERING
Steering rack and pinion (gaiters covered for 1 month or 1000 miles whichever is sooner), steering
box and track rod ends.

BRAKES
Master cylinder, wheel cylinders, restrictor valve, caliper seals and servo.

FRONT AND REAR SUSPENSION
All components excluding sagging of rear springs and king pin bushes (where applicable).

ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS
All components including, engine management unit (ECU) and manually operated switches.
In car entertainment, satellite navigation and vehicle immobiliser/alarm systems are not covered by
this warranty.
Batteries are covered providing correct charging methods have been followed.

CASINGS
If any of the covered parts fail and this damages the casing, it will also be covered. Damage caused
by ‘bottoming out’ is not covered.

WORKING MATERIALS
Oils, filters and antifreeze are covered only if it is essential to replace them because of the failure of
a part, which is covered under this warranty
