Morgan Roadster 4 Seater

The Morgan Roadster 4-Seater maintains the strong line of 4 wheel, four seat car production from the Morgan factory since 1936.

For many, the blend of traditional sports car performance, combined with space and practicality, means the versatile Morgan Roadster 4-Seater is a welcome return to the Morgan stable. Starting production this July, all Morgan Roadster models will have a number of significant improvements. All cars benefiting from these changes will carry a chasis number starting with H01000 and will been termed Series II Roadster.

The Morgan Roadster – 3.0 Litre Ford V6 – produces 223 bhp at 6,150 rpm and peak torque Torque 280Nm (206 lb/ft) at 4900 rpm. Vivid performance is assured, 0 – 60 mph in 5 seconds, from the latest in lightweight engine technology whilst meeting all the latest world standards in engine emissions and fuel economy. This powertrain provides the highest power to weight ratio of any open 4-seater sports car on the market! The Series II alterations are as a result of a required engine change meaning the new unit will be Euro IV compliant. This new version of the engine has a different air intake and injection system which deliver lower emissions and even smoother running.

Restyled rear lines, a new hood design and intelligent rear seat configuration make for an exceptionally attractive package. This is no cramped 2+2. Four comfortable seats can be found beneath the newly styled hood which, when combined with clever interior packaging, provides more head and leg room than ever before. Separately folding rear seats also offer the opportunity for extra luggage space and greater stowage flexibility - great for touring, with both rear seats folded.

Safety is covered with 3 point seat belts, front and rear, providing a safe and comfortable ride for all four occupants. The ability to fit ISO fix child seats for the ‘smaller’ back seat passengers is standard on both models. Greater suspension travel also provides improved comfort and assured handling characteristics.

This is a true Morgan sports car, from every angle, inside and out. In addition to the re-styling of the hood and rear body-work, new painted lower side screens (with room to stow in the car) accentuate the narrow side window lines. Optional equipment includes attractive polished wood centre console plus, for the first time, classically stylish 18" wire wheels.
